Introducing New Automation Technology
Milwaukee Precision Casting, Inc. is proud to introduce the addition of new and exceedingly accurate automation technology to our foundry.
What's New At Our Foundry?
Milwaukee Precision Casting, Inc. is proud to introduce the addition of new and exceedingly accurate automation technology to our foundry. Utilizing state-of-the-art Fanuc and KEA Automation equipment has allowed us to achieve a cleaner surface finish on parts and faster shell processing times. As a result, we are able to produce higher quality parts at substantially improved lead times.
Thanks to this fully automated process, breakage is no longer an unpredictable variable as with manually dipped parts. Rainfall sanders with variable speed control allow for more efficient distribution of refractories whilst reducing their breakdown. This approach layers sand compactly ensuring a greater shell consistency than traditional methods. Our environmental enclosure, which is custom designed to hold a wide variety of parts is equipped to produce optimal drying times.
What This Technology Means For You:
- Better surface finish for cast parts
- Less drying time required between dips, resulting in faster turnaround times
- Less breakage, meaning less patching on the molds and less ceramic inclusions in the castings
- Ability to handle heavy molds that cannot be manually dipped so that we can handle a wider range of parts
