Tooling Options

The tools required for investment casting are typically less expensive than for other casting methods. Using aluminum materials (steel, if wear-resistant components are required) reduces the tooling cost of your standard design.

We also specialize in transfer tooling, whether foreign or domestic. Our team at Milwaukee Precision Casting has had great success with very few modifications needed.

Why transfer tooling?
  • Cost reductionTransferring tooling to a facility with lower operational costs can reduce production expenses.

  • Supply chain securityTransferring tooling can help secure the supply chain.

  • Quality improvementTransferring tooling can help improve the quality of the product.

  • Business model changeTransferring tooling can help accommodate a change in business model.
