Cobalt Alloy 6 Investment Castings
Why use Cobalt Alloy 6 for Investment Castings?
Cobalt Alloy 6, also known as Cobalt 6B, is a corrosion resistant cobalt based Chromium and Tungsten alloy. Due to it's chemical and physical composition, Cobalt alloy 6 investment castings can withstand harsh environments where abrasion, galling, and seizing are utilized. Cobalt based alloys can withstand high heat temperatures of over 1000°F (540°C).
Milwaukee Precision Casting has experience in pouring Cobalt Alloy 6 Investment casting parts.
